If you've been tuning in lately, (hopefully) you've seen some big improvements in the bird photo department. The pelican, egrets, cormorants - I've gotten some decent pics.
Herons - not so much.
My favorite bird, bar none, is the great blue heron; a bird that is stately, gorgeous, grouchy, and (I've come to learn) very wary. So, today, I give you a few attempted heron snaps.
