An Earth Day 2023 update

If you've poked around here much lately, you may have noticed there's not much activity on Mesquite Hugger. It's been a season of taking care of family and trying to keep the bills current - not a lot of blogging or experiencing the beauty of the natural world.

But it is a season for hope. The spring weather has warmed us up and the winds have been bearable enough to commute by bike.

Somewhat ironically, I will spend this earth day trying to get an old fossil-burning car running. Ugh.

But I am hopeful for better days and a chance to share more earth-healing goodness in the days to come.
