The senate has already passed the bill.
I grew up believing in a country that is by the people and for the people - all of the people, and I fear the cuts to Medicaid, cuts to clean energy programs, and cuts to food assistance will just lead to more misery and more division. In the past months we have seen due process and civil rights stripped from many of our citizens and from many who've been legally pursuing citizenship in our country for years.
I only see this bill creating more desperation, hatred, and fear.
This administration has ostracized our country from much of the world in a very short period of time. This is not a political or a religious issue. This is an issue of simple human decency.
This bill does not treat others as we would like to be treated.
I pray that you are well and that we can all be good neighbors.
